Event Details

New Business Movement is one day conference designed to inspire and educate youth who dream about starting their own business.

New Business Movement will educate, empower and connect young entrepreneurs across Toronto through keynote speeches and business workshops.  Workshops are being offered on the topics of business planning, sales, social media and working in the arts.  The workshops will cover specific industries like fashion, web development and fine arts.

The event is being hosted by Youth Employment Services, Scadding Court Community Centre, and is co-sponsored by RBC and Pita Break.  Youth Employment Services YES aims to empower youth to re-enter the work force.  The organization serves disenfranchised and vulnerable Canadian youth.  YES opened Canada’s first Youth Business Centre in 1998.  YES wrote the first pre-employment training manual for teachers at the Toronto Board of Education.
